About Us
Founder and Director
Roberto Casalegno is a computational physicist with a passion for research, technology and science. He handles all aspects of applied computer sciences including software development, parallel computing and scientific programming. Experienced in IT system administration, his strength lies in data handling including network and data security, data conversions and backup management.
What we do
Roberto is an expert at programming in various
languages, from Perl to Python and Fortran; He has
combined his programming skills with his creativity to
develop the revolutionary concept of Yobilens, a novel
data-user interaction system exploiting information
visualization concepts (Intense Data Analysis or IDA) to
modify and enhance the way big data is displayed and
analysed.
Past experiences include running the Computer Centre
of the Astrophysical Observatory of Turin, National
Astrophysics Institute (IT) and Senior consultancy for
Wind Telecommunication in Ivrea (IT).
Roberto
believes that simple things can have a great impact on
others. This is the founding principle of the Yobilens
concept but also the reason why he is a regular blood
donor.
